party planning II

Hello, This is Faylin's Mom. She can't come to the blog right now, so you'll have to settle for me. We are very excited because yesterday at daycare we finalized our plans for the pool party. Our very helpful friend Isa put us in contact with someone to make a very special doggie carrot cake, and some other tasty treats as well, there will be several pools for swimming and a tiki umbrella for shade. And some very unique songs especially for the puppies. All the puppy parents are also looking forward to it. It's going to be in 2 weeks watch out for the photos and update.

Yesterday was also Faylin's first day at agility. We went to JAG Dog Agility in Wall Nj. I will try to post a link for those interested. Kobe took a class there last year and did so well. He had no fears and listened to his Dad. He made us so proud. His Dad has to figure out his schedule so they can continue.

Anyway, Faylin did ok. She enjoyed the special treats and had her very first meatball. She was ok with the loud noise of the teeter totter, but was not very sure of the wobble board. She did step on it but was very tentative. She also didn't understand why she had to walk over the A frame or dog walk when she could just walk around it. Maybe Kobe can give her a couple of tips before the next class. She did however walk very nicely on her leash and did a very good sit stay while I was walking around her even with all the new distractions. And she's just so darn cute. She also made some new friends which is always nice.

Yesterday while Kobe and Faylin were at daycare the staff took some pictures of them and their friends. It's a little preview of what the party will be like.
